Entrepreneurial Break-Through Moment
After 4 years of business success, Jim was asked a very important question by his wife, “So Jim, when are we going on vacation”? At that point Jim realized he had the right business, but the wrong business model because the structure he had in place at the time demanded he be present. He spent the next 8 months restructuring his business by outsourcing and automating.
What Was Jim’s First Entrepreneurial Experience?
As a young boy, Jim’s family moved to a new home. Contractors were building new homes in a nearby subdivision where Jim offered cleanup services for extra spending money to local builders.
Words of Encouragement
Business is hard and has become very competitive. Technology changes rapidly leaving some people bewildered and frustrated. Jim says concentrate on giving people lots of value, offer great service and market your product or service aggressively, you will have a profitable business even in a bad economy.
